Why This Could Be Interesting

Visit Broken Arrow is the official destination marketing organization for the City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. It is funded through the city’s hotel and motel occupancy tax and is tasked with driving tourism, overnight visitation, and visitor spending.

This is a broad destination marketing assignment, not a narrow campaign brief. The selected partner would support strategy, creative, paid and owned media, content, social management, SEO and AEO, website content, email, reporting, and stakeholder-facing materials.

What makes this one stand out is the mix of strategic and executional work. Visit Broken Arrow is not starting from scratch. It rebranded in 2023, has a lean internal team, and now wants agency support to help implement the Year One marketing priorities from its 2025-2030 Tourism Strategic Plan.

There is also some real breadth here in the audience and program mix. The scope touches event and seasonal travel marketing, sports tourism, veterans heritage tourism, the Rose District, small meetings, group travel, film tourism, and emerging opportunities that may develop during the term.

Best suited for agencies with destination, tourism, or place-marketing experience and strong integrated media, content, and strategic planning capabilities.
